Who doesn't love a neutral lip? I know I do. It has always been my go-to when all else failed.
Looking for that perfect neutral lip colour can be a challenge, though. Some neutrals are too nude, some too brown, some just completely wrong. It all comes down to preference.
What I look for in a neutral colour is nothing too light or pale. When it comes to the formulation, I like a product that isn't too opaque. So, here's the neutral lip combination I've been loving lately:
1) CoverGirl Lip Perfection in Seduce.
This is a step I've been known to skip, but when I want a long wearing lip colour, liner is an easy solution. This lip liner from CoverGirl is creamy and easy to apply. It can be a little drying, but that's not really a problem after what I apply on top of it.2) Burberry Lip Mist in Copper.
This sheer peachy nude is lovely on. I often wear it by itself, but it also looks great layered with other products. It's creamy, moisturizing, and comfortable to wear.3) Burberry Lip Glow in Nude Beige.
A peachy nude gloss. It has a slight shimmer to it and it's glossy. Another product that can be worn alone or layered. Despite the sheer finish, it still adds a bit of colour. Probably my favourite neutral lip gloss. What I love about this combination is that all three products can be mixed and matched with each other to create an easy everyday lip.
So, what's your favourite neutral lip at the moment?
