I apparently have an affinity for nude / au naturel / blush polishes. They always draw me in.
So, when I spotted this polish from Essie's 2015 Bridal Collection, I snapped it up right away. Brides to Be is a beautiful blush nude colour that is not particularly unique, yet still gorgeous. It's a soft, romantic hue that makes your nails look polished.
It is on the sheer side. It took three coats to reach the opacity in the photos. The first two coats were streaky, but the third coat smoothed and evened everything out. It wears well, I've had it on my nails for six days & no noticeable chips.
This polish already has a beautiful glossy finish, but I am obsessed with topping any nail colour with the Essie Gel Setter top coat. It is quick drying and super shiny.
Brides to Be is a limited edition polish, but I've still seen it kicking around at various drugstores (or online). Check it out if you're a lover of nudes, too.
If you can't find it, Essie Spin the Bottle is fairly similar and it has a creamier (more opaque) application.
