Geek Chic in my New Glasses

So I received free glasses from Firmoo a couple weeks ago... and so can you!

Have you heard of this company before? I never had until they contacted me. I browsed their website and they have a nice selection for great prices. Now, they don't carry designer brand names, but they offer good quality products.

After window shopping their site, I knew exactly which pair I wanted to get.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a new pair of glasses in the popular Wayfarer shape. I was planning on getting a pair of Ray-Bans, but then I saw a very similar style on Firmoo. I really their website because they have lots of pictures (and not just the regular stock photos), plus all the measurements for each pair of frames.

The glasses I chose are the Unisex Full Frame Plastic Eyeglasses. Opening the box, they came wrapped in bubble wrap with a cloth, within a sturdy case, inside a drawstring pouch. Basically, they were well protected during the shipping process.

The frames are exactly what I was expecting based on the pictures from Firmoo's website.

I received the frames fairly quickly. I was impressed, considering they have prescription lenses (mind you, my eyesight isn't terrible, only -1.25 in both eyes).

The quality is good. They're plastic and fairly light. The hinges on the frames feel a little stiff, but overall, the frames feel sturdy.

I've been using them for over a week now and they've held up great, despite my lack of proper eyewear care. Since I only need to wear glasses for distance (i.e., driving, low lighting situations), I typically just throw my glasses in my purse sans case. So far I haven't incurred any scratches on the lens (or even the frames).

So, while I got mine for free free**, you can also get a pair for free! Firmoo has this program where you can get your first pair of eyewear from them for free. All you have to do is pay for shipping, which to Canada is $12.95 (I checked).

Visit their website to take advantage if this awesome deal! Also, let me know which frames you like x

PS, yeah, I'm bringing back the fringe! :)

** This item was sent to me for consideration :).

  1. You look very cute in these glasses! I tried to order from clearlycontacts.ca (they also offer first pair free) but the frame was too big. I might give Firmoo a try!

  4. I know it's early.. but can you do a post about christmas gift ideas for different people/women (eg. moms, aunts, grandmothers, god mothers, etc..) In my family, we have a 'tradition' where the children get gifts but once they finish school and start working full-time, the gifts stop. So I thought it would be nice to switch roles and give my aunt/godmother something. But I just don't know what she could want. I'm thinking of giving her a jar of my favourite bb cream (M.Asam Magic Fini), but want to explore other ideas as I'm not good at this gift giving thing for family... Any suggestions??
