Chanel | Rouge Coco Shine - Monte Carlo

Wow, so blogging every day in August was a fail. I was doing so well, too. It was due to the usual reasons: work has kept me quite busy, and I just haven't found the perfect blogging time

Anyway, it wasn't a complete loss. I have lots of posts in back log that I will be able to shower you with in September :).

To start off, I have a lipstick love to share. It's another Chanel Rouge Coco Shine. I really do love these. Monte Carlo is a beautiful pinkish red. It looked a little more reddish pink in the tube but on the lips, it leans more pink. It also has a a subtle shimmer.

I really enjoy the lightweight texture of these lipsticks. Most of them are pigmented enough to either cover up your lip colour, or naturally enhance your lips. Once again, lasting power could be better. I can only get about three or four hours of wear but it does leave a little stain.

Let me know what you think x

Ps, how was your summer? Can you believe it's September?! My mind is still blown.

  5. I really like the rouge coco shines and how moisturizing they feel throughout the day, I'm on the final few swipes of "Boy" before my tube is completely empty. The one thing I most dislike, however, is the smell! I don't like the heavily perfumed smell on my lips!

    1. I should really pick up Boy! I've heard lovely things about the colour. And I'm the opposite! I love the scent! It did bug me at first because I wasn't used to such heavily scented lip products, but it has grown on me! x

    1. I was a little worried it would be too red, but it translates beautifully on my lips and I'm quite happy with it! Thank you! x
