Empties!

Here are some products I used up recently. I had a few more products to include but they were recycled before I thought to commit them to film.

Here are some pros and cons for each product...

Almay Oil-Free Makeup Remover Wipes
+ Great at removing face makeup
+ Works well with my sensitive skin
- Takes a little more patience to get off

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap & Clarifying Lotion #3
+ I like that you can customize this system depending on if you have oily, dry, or combination skin
+ Works amazingly well with my skin to keep acne at bay
- I find this works best if I use it for 2-3 month intervals. If I use it consecutively for too long, it isn't as effective.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash
+ Has salicylic acid to prevent acne
+ Doesn't dry out my skin (even with the salicylic acid)

Proclaim Cocoa & Shea Butter lotion
+ It smells great!
+ It's moisturizing
- I find it a little greasy on my skin at times

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer
+ Definitely noticed a difference in the tone/texture of my skin after using this for a few weeks
- I can't use it consecutively because the ingredients are a little strong for my sensitive skin

NARS Orgasm blush
+ One of my favourite blushes
+ Lasts a long time!

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream
+ Moisturizing & good coverage (more than a tinted moisturizer but no where near a foundation)
- I didn't find that it did anything spectacular to my skin but I do like it
- The shade I got (No.23) quickly became a little too light for me because I tan very easily
+ I will definitely be repurchasing this but in a shade darker

Philosophy Dark Shadows Illuminating Eye and Upper Lip Cream
- This is not an eye cream
+ It does illuminate the under eyes though
+ It brightens up the under eyes but it doesn't conceal anything

Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream
+ It does have a refreshing cooling affect
- Didn't reduce the puffiness of my under eyes

Vichy Skin Corrector (concealer)
+ Great coverage
+ On my skin, it works better on blemishes than under eyes
- There is a limited variety of shades (so it may be difficult to find a shade that works for you)

  4. How long does it typically take you to finish a facial moisturizer or cleanser with consistent usage and without consistent usage?

    1. It varies quite a bit depending on the size of the product and usage. Cleansers last around 3 months (using it twice a day) and it lasts much longer without consistent use. I use moisturizers up a little quicker, usually around 2 months or less with consistent usage :).
