March Julep Maven Box

Normally, my style is Classic with a Twist but for this month's Julep box, I decided to spice it up.

I was torn between the Bombshell (which had a beautiful orange creme and a glittery green polish) and the Boho Glam box but I ended up choosing the latter.

This month's box came with Julep Elixir Organic Moroccan Argan Oil. Argan oil is known for its healing, conditioning, and anti-aging properties. I've only ever tried the argan oil from Josie Maran and I absolutely love it. I'm excited to try this one out. Argan oil is multi-purpose, too. You can use it from your skin, your hair, and your cuticles.

Portia

Portia is a beautiful sheer glitter polish in a bright turquoise/blue. Very tropical. Like I said, it's very sheer. Even with two coats, only the glitter is noticeable. It would look great over a base coat of colour. It reminds me a little of glitter polishes from Deborah Lippman.

Overall:

Colour: ♥♥♥♥
Application: ♥♥♥♥
Lasting Power: ♥♥♥♥

Alicia

Alicia is a gorgeous salmon creme polish. Opaque in two coats and it looks amazing with a tan.

If you received a Julep box, let me know which colours you got! xx

  1. I also changed from "Classic with a Twist" to "Bombshell" all because of that beautiful orange creme nail polish! I loved the colours in Boho as well so it was tough to choose!
