NOTD #20: Essie Bangle Jangle

Essie's 2012 Winter Collection. I fought every notion in me to buy it because I put myself on a nail polish ban... but low and behold, here she is.

Amazingly enough, I wasn't the one to purchase it. It was actually a "gift" from my mum. I use the word gift loosely because it wasn't wrapped and it wasn't for any occasion -- my mum just saw it and thought of me. She knows me so well.

The mini set contains four 5mL bottles (from left to right): Bangle Jangle, Size Matters, Cocktail Bling, and Bobbing for Baubles.

I seriously think that these bottles are the perfect size -- at least for non-HG polishes.

Bangle Jangle is the first one I tried and I adore the purple/smokey grey hue. It works well as an everyday colour but it's still fun.

Overall:

Colour: ♥♥♥♥
Application: ♥♥♥♥
Lasting Power: ♥♥♥♥

On another note.. I'm going to re-film my January favourites video today. Fingers crossed that it works out :).

Hope you're all having a great Friday! This week went by really fast.

  1. I find a lot of nail polishes totally suit you and look great on you. I think it's your skin tone. Or your nail bed shape.
